Four hundred candidates will be short listed from the various zones after a careful verification of their qualifications and the course of their choice. The short listed candidates will be subjected to tests in English and Mathematics. Forty highest scorers will be given the opportunity to write the University of Lagos Diploma programme.

The four hundred candidates would then be subjected to a test and an interview. The best forty students will automatically qualify to write the diploma examinations.

The forty successful students would be selected based on the scores obtained in the pre- diploma examination, their academic performance in their O’ Levels (WAEC, GCE or NECO), and also their financial background.
